Thursford offers a truly unique day out all year round!
From April to September, the museum is open and home to the world's largest collection of steam engines and organs. With vintage fairground rides, live Wurlitzer shows, silent movies, a selection of retail shops, a picnic area and Barn café - there's lots to see and do. Open Sunday - Wednesday, 11am - 4pm.
Thursford's Adventure Play Fair is open March - November - a 30,000sqft outdoor adventure play park themed around a vintage fairground.
Every November to December, the complex is transformed into a winter wonderland, with one of Europe's biggest Christmas shows of its kind, the award-winning Thursford Christmas Spectacular taking audiences on a journey to Christmas Eve through song, music and dance. This three-hour festive extravaganza features a cast of 120 performing across a 130ft stage.
Families can enjoy meeting Father Christmas in Santa's Magical Journey, whilst everyone can marvel in the picturesque giant lantern displays that light up the fields of Thursford with The Enchanted Journey of Light.
During the festive season, Thursford's selection of retail shops and catering outlets are open.
