NNR Signalling Days

North Norfolk Railway: Last 2017 Signalling Experience Day.

The North Norfolk Railway held the last of their 2017 Signalling Experience days on the 15th September.

Offered on seven dates throughout the year, each day offered two participants the opportunity to try their hand at signalling for real (supervised by a signalling inspector) in the delightful setting of Holt signal box. A visit to Weybourne or Sheringham signal box was also included in the day.

"The North Norfolk Railway received extremely positive feedback from all the participants and, as a result, is planning to run an expanded series of days in 2018", commented Andrew Munden, NNR's General Manager. "In addition, several of the participants have now volunteered to train as signalmen, and will be joining our next signalling training course starting in December".

The Signalling experience days join the ever-popular Steam Driving days complemented now by Diesel Experiences giving the opportunity to fulfil many dreams. All these experiences are bookable direct with the North Norfolk Railway.
